Organizations, creatives and artists can be involved with the FDC in a variety of ways. Attending activities, buying local and promoting Denver's talented designers, leasing the multifunctional space for private events, and shopping at our on-site boutique Haute are just a few.
3 primary ways fashion designers will interact will be as studio designers in residence, production designers, and as part of the retail space. To participate as a retail designer, either the work will be created by the FDC or in Colorado. Garments can also be available for wholesale to help designers further grow their lines.
Boutique buyers are invited to work with the FDC team to create private label designs specific to their own client demographics, as well as find fresh designers to as add to their shop inventory. Shoppers can support our Colorado designers and spend the day destination shopping in River North (RiNo) at Haute, our onsite boutique, set to open later this summer. Individual pieces that are not available anywhere else yet or have been custom created will be available regularly for stylists and consumers.
Custom is our middle name. Brides and other special occasions can enjoy the excitement of custom and couture designs of the "perfect" gown and their wedding party ensembles. Previous customs gowns have been created by CEO, Lisa Elstun, for the Flight to Luxury, YSL Exhibit at the DAM… Looking forward, the FDC is the unique "one stop" with the capacity to provide wardrobes for the CO film industry as it grows. We have a couple of designers with theater experience on staff plus a team to create unique costumes.
